Jalandhar: On Thursday midnight, a medical store owner died in a fire in his house in Jalandhar. This incident is from the posh area of ​​New Jawahar Nagar in the city. The fire brigade came to know about the fire at around 1.30 am. After which the fire was soon brought under control.

But the life of Atul Sood, the owner of the house and the operator of the City Medical Store located in Company Bagh Chowk, could not be saved. Two other people were also burnt in the incident. Sood was sleeping with his wife on the third floor. His wife was rescued in time.

According to the information received, the preliminary investigation has revealed that the fire may have been lit in the temple. When the information was given to the fire brigade team, the teams reached the spot within about ten minutes. In the next 15 to 20 minutes, the fire brigade teams had brought the fire under control. But by then Atul Sood had died and Sood’s unconscious wife was taken out by his employee.

Gopal, an employee of City Medical Store present inside the house, said that he has been working with Atul for the last 20 years. Along with Gopal, his colleagues Jagdish Ram Lal and Bhagat were also present. At around 11 pm, everyone went to sleep as usual. They were on the ground floor and the owner Atul was on the third floor.

Let us tell you that when the fire broke out, the sound of explosions started coming from inside the house. Hearing the sound of explosions, the employees immediately came out and saw smoke coming from inside the house. Bhagat and Jagdish ran away from there but Ramlal was stuck there. He was somehow taken out through the stairs.
