Even after three days, no trace of the 45 missing people in Himachal floods

Shimla: Out of the 52 people who went missing in the floods and landslides after the cloudburst in Himachal Pradesh, no trace of 45 people has been found Even after three days of disaster . However, till now only one of the missing people has been rescued alive while the bodies of six have been found.

Not even one of the 36 missing people in Rampur of Shimla district has been found. The administration has called live detector devices and sniffer dogs to the spot to search for the missing people. Search operation will be conducted today with their help.

Army men searching missing people with the help of snipper dogs

Wherever the sniffer dogs are getting indications of people being buried, digging is being done with JCB to find people. NDRF, SDRF, CIF, Police and Home Guard personnel are engaged in searching for people. No success has been achieved in the search operation for three days. Due to this, the hopes of finding the people buried under the debris alive have also been shattered.

Teams Searching Missing people

Another woman’s body was found on Saturday in Chauharghati of Mandi. 11 people went missing in the flood in Chauharghat on Wednesday night. Now a total of 4 people are missing, including 2 girls aged 3 months and 11 years. while the seventh person was rescued in an injured condition in the incident.

Search and rescue operation are ongoing

In Bagipul of Kullu, 7 people including 5 members of a family went missing. Among them, the bodies of a woman and a man have been found, while 5 are still missing. These include two Nepalis. It is a matter of relief that there has been no rain in most areas for the last 55 hours. Due to which the water level of rivers and streams which have become dangerous is decreasing.
