All countries involved in international forums often say the same thing: to solve the problem of terrorism, all nations must join hands and fight a decisive battle. Recently, this same point has been reiterated in various forums, from the United Nations to Asian countries. Among those who reiterate this point are countries like China and Pakistan, which are accused of directly or indirectly fostering terrorism. To create unrest and chaos in India, the activities of enemy countries Pakistan, on the one hand, and some emerging elements in Bangladesh, and China, which indirectly supports them, come to light. Whenever terrorist modules are exposed by India’s vigilant defense forces, it becomes clear that conspiracies against India are being hatched from every corner of the border. Be it the border of Punjab, the border areas of Kashmir, or Rajasthan, Pakistan-sponsored terrorists are seen operating with one terror module or another.
In 2025, during Operation Sindoor, India entered Pakistan and destroyed nine terrorist hideouts, yet terrorists like Hafiz Saeed continue to operate in Pakistan. Hafiz Saeed is not the only terrorist, but several other terror modules have also been exposed, all of which are allegedly behind the Pakistani intelligence agency, the ISI. A terror module led by ISI-backed Pakistani handler Rana King was exposed for plotting bombings and carrying out terrorist acts in India during Dussehra and Diwali. Seven people were arrested in Punjab, along with hand grenades and weapons imported from across the border. Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav stated that this terror module, and similar ones, are more dangerous because the accused arrested here appear to have links with terrorists and smuggling mafias based abroad. Weapons consignments were recovered from the accused arrested in Mananwala and Sultanwind areas of Amritsar. Weapons are transported into India from enemy Pakistan using drones, and minors living here are lured with money to act as couriers. Often, they are also the ones who carry out the crime.
Recently, out of the five people arrested under Lopoke police station on the charges of carrying out a blast on Dussehra, three were minors. Neither these minors nor the two people arrested with them had any previous charges against them. This means that they were lured and asked to carry out the crime for the first time. The police are checking their mobile phones to find out where these terrorist gangs, nurtured by the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI, are spread across India. Recently, news also came that some terrorist elements were planning to reach Jantar Mantar and carry out a blast, but the plan failed due to their arrest.
Rana King, considered the indirect leader of these terrorist elements, paid the terrorists to throw petrol bombs. On July 20, 2026, two youths, including a minor, threw petrol bombs at a checkpoint under Ajnala. The capture of terror modules has revealed some more worrying facts. First, they are infiltrating into the interior of the country and carrying out attacks. Second, such terrorist acts are being carried out not by sending terrorists from across the border, but by luring minors and youth from India with 50,000 rupees each. Amidst the crowded festive season, these new revelations are a matter of great concern for the nation’s guardians.
