Ganeshwar Kund Suitcase Blast Revealed: Tantric rituals were being performed to conceive a child

Rajasthan: Police have solved the case of the explosion that occurred at Ganeshwar Kund in Sikar district on February 12th at around 2 pm. Investigation revealed that a suitcase was thrown into the pond. The suitcase contained an explosive-like substance, which reacted upon contact with water and exploded.

Five accused detained through CCTV and interrogation

According to Neemkathana Additional Superintendent of Police Lokesh Meena, five people were identified after questioning people present at the scene and examining CCTV footage from the surrounding area. On February 18th, police detained the five accused and began questioning them.

The accused arrested include Dinesh Kumar Jangid and Hariram (Gudhagaurji, Jhunjhunu), Jairam Saini (Jhunjhunu), Nirmal Sharma (Didwana-Kuchaman), and Niamat alias Saddam (Sultanpura, Nuh, Haryana).

Ritual performed at the behest of a tantrik

During interrogation, the accused revealed that due to their inability to have children, they had visited a tantrik in the Mewat region of Haryana. The tantrik gave them a suitcase and a bag full of coconuts and instructed them to throw them into flowing water to complete the ritual.

The accused initially considered throwing their belongings at Lohargal Dham in Jhunjhunu, but due to insufficient running water there, they went to Ganeshwar Kund. The suitcase exploded as soon as it was placed in the water. Panicked, they called the tantrik, who assured them that the ritual was successful and asked them to leave.

Teams from multiple police stations involved in the investigation

To solve the case, teams from the mobile FSL unit, dog squad, cyber cell, and Neemkathana Sadar, Kotwali Neemkathana, Patan, Dabla, Thoi, Khandela, Jajod, and Jata police stations were formed.

Tantrik absconding, investigation ongoing

Police have not yet released the identity of the tantrik. Officials say that the full truth of the case will be revealed only after the tantrik’s arrest. It is also unclear which of the accused had childbearing problems and who led them to the tantrik. The investigation is ongoing.
