Canada: Gunfire outside the home of singer AP Dhillon in Vancouver, Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility

Vancouver (Canada): There was heavy gunfire outside the home of singer AP Dhillon in Vancouver on Monday. Dhillon is known for songs like “Brown Munde” and “Summer High.” Rohit Godara, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has claimed responsibility for the shooting.

A video of the incident has surfaced online and is now under investigation by security agencies. A social media post claimed that the shooting occurred at AP Dhillon’s bungalow located on Victoria Island, Vancouver. The post alleges that there was indiscriminate firing outside the famous singer’s house.
The video is being verified by authorities, and the incident has sparked widespread concern online. The post, attributed to Rohit Godara from the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang, claimed responsibility for two firing incidents on the night of September 1, one at Victoria Island and the other in Woodbridge, Toronto.
The post also mentioned AP Dhillon’s recent collaboration with Bollywood star Salman Khan, suggesting that the attack was related to this project. The post warned Dhillon to “stay in his place” or face severe consequences. The identity of the attackers involved in the shooting has not been confirmed. AP Dhillon, a Canadian-Indian rapper, recently collaborated with Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt on the song “Old Money,” which was released on August 3.
This collaboration seemingly provoked the Bishnoi gang, leading to the alleged attack.
AP Dhillon is well-known for his contributions to the Punjabi music industry, with popular tracks like “Brown Munde,” “Excuses,” and “Majhail” that blend Punjabi music with hip-hop and trap elements.
This incident follows a similar shooting in April, when two unknown individuals fired shots at Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra’s Galaxy Apartments, narrowly missing the target.
The Bishnoi Gang claimed responsibility for that attack as well. Salman Khan has frequently received death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who has identified Khan as one of his top targets due to the actor’s involvement in the killing of a blackbuck, which Bishnoi claims hurt religious sentiments.
