Chandigarh: The Punjab and Haryana High Court heard the case of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s interview from jail on Thursday. The court has now summoned the Chief Secretary of Punjab. The next hearing has been fixed for Friday morning. At the same time, the SIT investigating the case said that their investigation is going on. The investigation will be completed by the first week of October.
Court questioned the issue related to jammers in jails during the hearing, the government lawyer said that there is a process for installing jammers. There is a proper tender and other formalities for installing jammers. After this, the court summoned the Chief Secretary. It took half an hour. He was asked to appear in court through VC in half an hour. But he could not appear due to a meeting with the farmers. Now the case will be heard on Friday morning.
Notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is the main accused of Famous Punjabi Singer/ Rapper Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu Alias Sidhu Moosewala. He had confessed during the first jail interview that Sidhu Moosewala was killed on his behest.
