Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s daughter Tina Ahuja broke silence on divorce speculation

New Delhi, August 25: Speculations about the divorce of Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja are once again in the headlines. But now his daughter Tina Ahuja has reacted to these rumours and has completely dismissed them.

Tina said in a conversation with News Channel,

“These are all rumours. I do not pay attention to them.”

When asked what is her reaction when these news come out again and again, she replied –

“What should I say? Papa is not even in the country.”

She further said,

“I consider myself lucky that I have got such a beautiful and loving family. I am grateful for the love and support I am getting from the media, fans and loved ones.”

Where did the divorce rumours start?

The news of differences between Govinda and Sunita has been doing the rounds since February 2024. A recent report claimed that Sunita had even sent a separation notice, but no legal action was taken after that.

Govinda’s lawyer Lalit Bindal told:

“There is no case, everything is getting sorted out. People are digging up old things.”

A close source said,

“Now Ganesh Chaturthi will come, you will see everyone together, you come home.”

Sunita Ahuja’s statement increased the discussion

In a recent interview, Sunita Ahuja shared personal things about her relationship.

In an interview to a news channel, she jokingly said:

“I have told Govinda that he should not be my husband in the next life. He never goes on holidays. I am the kind of person who likes to go out with my husband and eat Panipuri on the road. But he is always busy with work.”

He also revealed that the two of them never even went to the movies together.

Govinda and Sunita’s Married Life

Govinda and Sunita got married in March 1987 but they kept it a secret until their daughter Tina was born in 1988. They later welcomed their son Yashvardhan in 1997.

According to reports, the two have recently reconciled. Sunita still attends court-mandated counselling sessions but there is no confirmation about Govinda attending.
