In Gurugram, the police had an encounter with criminals trying to escape from police custody. One criminal was shot in the leg, while the other suffered a broken leg while trying to escape. The police said that the three accused, Vinay, Bobby, and Pawan, have been arrested in the case of firing at the toll plaza and a grisly attack.
The police team had taken the three accused to the hilly area of Purana Behrampur village to recover weapons. During the investigation, the accused Vinay had revealed that he had hidden a loaded weapon there. As soon as the police team reached the spot, the accused Vinay opened fire on the police with the same weapon. ASI Manmohan, who was part of the team, was hit by a bullet on his bulletproof jacket and narrowly escaped.
The police first warned the accused, but when he continued firing, they retaliated. The injured accused, who sustained a bullet injury in Vinay’s right leg, was immediately admitted to the hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, the accused Bobby was also taken to the Bhondsi area for recovery. While trying to escape, he fell and sustained serious injuries to his leg. Police have also sent him to the hospital for treatment.
