A high-speed Creta and Swift cars collided head-on on the Kurukshetra-Kaithal road this morning, killing five people on the spot. Bystanders pulled out the bodies by cutting through a window. According to reports, they were returning from a Mata Jagran and were residents of Yamunanagar. The accident occurred between Pindarasi and Gharaadasi villages.
Five People died
The deceased were identified as driver Praveen, son of Swaraj, resident of Boobka; Pawan, son of Balkishan; Rajendra, son of Balkishan; Urmila, wife of Pawan; and Suman, wife of Sanjay. Their bodies have been taken to LNJP Hospital. The postmortem will be done, and the bodies will be given to the family.
Vanshika (18), Yamunanagar; Santosh (45), wife of Dharampal, resident of Papanava; Leela Devi (52), wife of Rishipal, resident of Papanava; Rishi Pal (55), son of Karam Singh, resident of Papanava; and Praveen (40), son of Jeeta Ram, resident of Papanava, were injured and are admitted to Anand Hospital.
