A moving car on the Ambala-Jagadhri highway burst into flames on Sunday. Within moments, a plume of black smoke filled the sky. Fortunately, the driver showed presence of mind and exited the car in time, saving his life.
The driver was reportedly traveling from Ambala to Jagadhri. As he approached a private hotel on the highway, he noticed smoke coming from the hood. The driver immediately pulled over and got out. As soon as he got out, the entire car was engulfed in flames. It is believed that a short circuit caused the accident.
Highway Traffic Jam
Traffic on the highway was disrupted due to a car fire in the middle of the road. Vehicles lined up on both sides. People present at the scene informed the police and fire department. The car was completely engulfed in flames before the fire brigade vehicle arrived.
Eyewitness Rajesh said that if the driver had delayed getting out, a major accident could have occurred. Police arrived at the scene and used a crane to lift the burned car to the side of the road, allowing traffic to return to normal. Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
