2 arrest in Haryana for taking bribe of Rs 1.80 lakh

Faridabad: In Faridabad, Haryana, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested a person red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand in the name of getting a job in ESI. Later, one of his associates was also caught. ACB is interrogating both of them. It is being ascertained whether any senior officer is behind this bribe.

According to the information received from ACB, Rakesh, a resident of Milad Colony Sector 7, and Hakam, a resident of Bhagat Singh Colony Ballabhgarh, both claimed to get a fourth-class job in ESI number 3. They had demanded Rs 2 lakh for this from Karmveer resident Balaji Colony.

After which, the deal was fixed at Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand.

After receiving the information, ACB laid a trap and arrested Rakesh red-handed while taking money. Rakesh said after the arrest that his other associate, Hakam, was also involved in demanding a bribe. After this, based on his information, the second accused, Hakam, was also arrested.

The ACB team said that Karmveer had complained about demanding a bribe in the name of getting a job at ESI. Action has been taken on this.

Other people can also be involved in the case. For this, interrogation of both accused is going on and name comes up in the interrogation will also be arrested.
