24-hour trial of new airport tunnel begins: Journey from Gurugram to IGI will be reduced by 30 minutes

Now 24-hour trial run has started on the new airport tunnel built between Gurugram and Delhi. This will provide relief from heavy traffic jams especially in the morning and evening, and it will take about half an hour less to reach the airport or Dwarka.

People coming from Sonipat, Panipat, and Bahadurgarh will now be able to go directly to the airport without stopping. Also, it will be easy to reach NH-48 Delhi-Gurugram Highway.

Earlier, those going to the airport from Dwarka had to take a U-turn from the Mahipalpur cut, where there was a jam all the time. Now this problem will end to a great extent.

Till now, the trial of this tunnel was being done from 8 am to 8 pm, but there is a 24-hour movement of vehicles from Gurugram to Delhi Airport. Due to which there is a jam. This is expected to provide relief from the jam in Gurugram.

Along with this, the people of North Haryana will also not have to get stuck in the jam through Urban Extension Road-2. UER-2 connects Sonipat and Singhu border as well as the Bahadurgarh and Delhi Katra Expressway. Vehicles coming from Haryana and Punjab will now be able to come directly to the airport and Gurugram without getting stuck in Delhi’s jam.

The tunnel will open permanently after June 30
