3 miscreants shot truck driver in Sonipat

Sonipat: Three unidentified miscreants shot a truck driver on Monday morning in Sonipat, Haryana. The miscreants took away the cash from his pocket. During this, the miscreants tried to snatch his mobile phone, so he started running. At this, the miscreants fired a bullet at him, which hit his hip. The incident took place near the 0 point of KMP Expressway.

According to the information, Ravi, a resident of Chuarpur village in Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh), had left for Gurugram from Bonn Bread Company Kami village in a TATA-1109 truck with his helper Manoj, a resident of Lohgut Aligarh village. He was going towards Manesar via KMP Expressway after climbing from 0 point on GT Road. He stopped his truck to urinate. His helper Manoj was sitting in the vehicle.

Three miscreants surrounded

Ravi told that during this time three youths, one of whom had a handkerchief tied on his mouth and two had weapons, came to him. The miscreants first caught Ravi and took out 1 thousand rupees from his lower’s pocket. When his helper Manoj came to save him, they snatched 1,200 rupees from him also at gunpoint. When the miscreants started snatching Ravi’s mobile phone, he tried to run away.

Bullet wound below the hip

One of the miscreants fired a shot at Ravi who was running away. The bullet hit him below the hip of his left leg. Due to this, he fell on the road. On hearing the noise, all the three miscreants fled from the spot with their weapons. After the miscreants left, the police was informed about the incident.

Police took him to hospital

As soon as the information of the incident was received, SI Amardeep Singh of Rai police station reached the spot with the police team. The injured Ravi was immediately admitted to the government hospital Sonipat. FSL team and SHO were also called on the spot, who inspected the spot. The FSL team collected blood samples with the help of cotton and videography of the spot was done and uploaded in e-evidence.
