45 farmers fined for burning stubble in Ambala: FIR against 3 including 2 women farmers

Ambala: Tension seems to be breaking out between the government and farmers in Haryana on the issue of burning stubble. On the orders of the government, now along with challan, FIR is also being registered against the farmers who burn stubble. According to the information given by the Agriculture Officer in Ambala, a fine of 1 lakh 5 thousand rupees has been collected from 45 farmers. Also, FIR has been registered against 3 farmers, which also includes 2 women farmers.

At the same time, red entry has been made on the ‘Meri Fasal Mera Byora Portal’ of 35 farmers. There was a lot of anger among the farmers against this action of the government. The farmers say that they have to burn stubble under compulsion so that they can clear the field and sow the next crop.

These days the atmosphere in Haryana remains very sensitive on the issue of burning paddy stubble. After the reprimand of the Supreme Court, the government is engaged in taking very strict action. After challaning the farmers who set fire to the stubble, now FIR is being registered. I

Ambala District Agriculture Officer Jaswinder Saini said that till now they have received 73 locations from the Directorate, out of which fire has been found in 45 cases. Challans have been issued to all the farmers and fines have been collected.
