50 thousand bounty on Haryana smuggler Jasbir Kala; Action by Chandigarh NCB

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Chandigarh Zonal Unit has announced a reward of 50 thousand on a drug smuggler from Haryana. The smuggler is absconding from the court in a drug smuggling case registered in the year 2015.

The accused has been identified as Jasbir Singh alias Kala alias Baz, village Malipura Mithrai, Dabwali, Sirsa, Haryana. The Bureau says that the name of the informer in this regard will be kept secret. Also, the name of the person giving the reward will also be kept secret.

NCB has been looking for the accused for a long time. He is being searched in the case of 36.150 kg of opium seized in the year 2015. It is learned that NCB teams and police raided several times to catch the accused, but he is going underground at that time. The country’s Home Minister Amit Shah had posted on his social media account X some time ago and claimed that the central government is taking strict action against smugglers who are pushing the youth into the abyss of drugs by luring them with money.

He told that 29 people have been punished in 12 such different cases. Talking about these 12 cases, two of these cases are related to Punjab and Chandigarh, in which four people have been punished. Both these cases have been solved by the NCB Chandigarh team. One of the accused is also a police clerk, who has been punished.
