7-year-old hit by speeding bike in Panipat, case registered

A tragic road accident occurred in the village of Balana, Panipat district. A speeding motorcyclist, who had just picked up medicine from a medical store, collided with a 7-year-old child who was crossing the road. The incident took place at 4:30 PM on March 12. Following the incident, the police registered a case against the motorcyclist and have started an investigation, while the rider is being sought.

Locals Saved the Child’s Life

According to reports, the 7-year-old child, Raja Babu, the son of a laborer from Bihar, was crossing the road outside a factory. The impact was so severe that the child fell unconscious at the spot. The motorcyclist fled the scene after the accident. Local residents rushed to the child’s aid and informed his family. Raja Babu’s father, Pappu Shah, stated that they are originally from Motihari district in Bihar and currently work at a private factory in Balana. They have three children – two sons and one daughter.

Child in Critical Condition, Case Registered

Raja Babu was rushed to the ICU of the local NC Medical College, where his condition remains critical. Based on the statement from Pappu Shah, the police registered a case against the unidentified motorcyclist. Efforts to locate the accused are underway.
