Policeman dies due to electric shock in Panipat

Panipat: An accident happened in a village in the Panipat district of Haryana, a policeman got an electric shock. Seeing him lying unconscious, family and local people immediately took him to the hospital and doctors declared him dead. After this, the body of the deceased policeman was taken to the civil hospital. His panchnama was filled and kept in the mortuary.

Based on the statements of the family members, the police took unanimous action, got the post-mortem done, and handed over the body to the family. The deceased was the father of two children (a boy). In which the elder son has gone to New Zealand. While the second son is just 17 years old.

Investigating officer Head Constable Sunil gave information and said that the incident took place in village Pasina. Constable Rajesh Kumar (47), a resident of the village, was posted to Haryana Police. He was on duty on ERV under the Ganaur police station of Sonipat district.

On Tuesday, he returned to his village in the morning after doing night duty. A feast was being organized in the Shiv temple of the village. His family also served in the feast. In the middle of the service, he went to take the prasad kept in the room of the temple. During this, he got an electric shock from the iron gate and died.
