Congress MP Kumari Shailaja wrote letter to Railway Minister

Rohtak: All India Congress Committee General Secretary, former Union Minister, and MP from Sirsa Lok Sabha constituency Kumari Shailaja has written a letter to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav saying that a new intercity train should be run between the newly constructed railway line Hansi-Maham-Rohtak-New Delhi. By doing this, passengers from Sirsa and other districts will save time, and they can travel to and from Delhi in a single day.

She has said in a letter to the Railway Minister that various organizations in her parliamentary constituency, Sirsa City, have written to her demanding that a new intercity train be run between Sirsa and Hisar, Hansi, Maham, Rohtak, and New Delhi at 4:30 am on the Hansi-Maham-Rohtak railway line started in February this year. Which reached Delhi at 9 a.m., left Delhi at 5 p.m., and reached Sirsa at 10 p.m., so that the common man and the business class could return home after completing their work in 8 hours.

He has said that the distance of this route from Sirsa to New Delhi is 247 km. This distance can be covered in 4 and a half hours. This route is the shortest route from Sirsa to Delhi. There is not a single train on this route from Sirsa to Meham-Delhi. Along with the people of Sirsa, the people of Hisar, Hansi, and Rohtak will connect to New Delhi for the first time through this route, and it will be easy for them to travel to Delhi.

The MP demanded that one-third of AC and one AC chair coach should also be arranged in this intercity train. Along with this, there is a demand from various organizations that the departure time of train 14731/32 running between Bathinda and Delhi from Bathinda be changed to the old time of 6.50 am instead of 5 am so that about two thousand children from Kalanwali and Sirsa can reach Sirsa and Hisar at 8 am in time for college.
