Haryana shooter Sarabjot Singh reaches Delhi, won bronze medal in 10-meter mixed double

Ambala:  Ambala player Sarabjot, who won a bronze medal in 10-meter mixed double shooting at the Paris Olympics, returned to India on Thursday. He was given a warm welcome with drums at Delhi airport. Sarabjot’s family is waiting for their son to return to Dhin village. Due to protocol, Sarabjot will stay in Delhi today.

Junior coach Gaurav Saini, who was present at the time of Sarabjot’s grand welcome at Delhi airport, said that today Sarabjot will be welcomed in Delhi under the national program. Only after this, Sarabjot will reach Ambala. He will be given a warm welcome in Ambala as well. Official information about this has not been released yet. There will be a welcome ceremony in Sarabjot’s village Dhin and at Ambala Shooting Academy.

Sarabjot’s father, Jitendra Singh, said that he is waiting for his son to return home. Here he will be welcomed with great pomp and show with drums. First of all, Sarabjot will pay obeisance with the whole family at Panjokhra Sahib Gurudwara in Ambala. For this, Sarabjot Kaur’s mother Harjeet Kaur has made all the preparations. Jitendra said that at present he does not know when his son will come to Ambala. He is at home right now. He did not even get the information about the welcome in Delhi.
