Arms Act case against 5 youths in Hisar: Pictures posted with weapons on Instagram

Hisar: A case under Arms Act has been registered against 5 youths in Hisar. This action has been taken for posting photos with weapons on social media. Under this section, there is a provision of punishment up to 3 years for the crime. Out of the FIR lodged in Hisar HTM police station, a case is already registered against 3 youths.

2 youths of Hisar, Akash and Ravi, are already booked for fraud and fake transfer and a person resident of Bhattu Kalan, Fatehabad, is already booked under Arms Act.

The 5 people against whom the police have registered a case under Arms Act include Akash, Meenu Jat resident Mirzapur, Sumit New Geeta Colony Hisar, Suraj alias Sonu resident Patan, Dinesh resident Mirchpur currently Chandan Nagar, Kuldeep resident Nahla. Police have seen a double-barrel gun and a pistol in their hands.

The police will recover these weapons and find out how and who delivered the weapons to the hands of these youths. According to the police, the Instagram ID is in the name of Ravi’s son Rajendra resident Arya Nagar Hisar.

According to the police, in the year 2023, Akash had uploaded pictures of himself and his partner Meenu Jat with weapons on his Instagram ID. After this, when the cyber team of the police investigated, it was found that Akash did not have any licensed weapon.

Akash has promoted criminal tendencies and spread panic among the general public by posting pictures on Instagram ID with Meenu Jat, Sumit, Kuldeep, Suraj alias Sonu and Dinesh.
