Buffalo dies from electric shock in Jind, electricity corportation fails to repair transformer after complaint

Jind: In Baroda village of Jind, Haryana, a buffalo died after coming in contact with the transformer pole, it is due to the negligence of the Electricity Corporation. The villagers and the farmer said that they had been informed about the problem, but the employees of the concerned department did not repair the transformer in time. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot. The farmer has demanded compensation from the Electricity Corporation.

According to the information, Balraj, a resident of Baroda, while coming back to the village, his buffalo suddenly touched with a transformer.

The buffalo died on the spot due to a strong electric shock. On receiving the information about the death of the buffalo, the local people reached the spot and informed the Uchana police station and the officials of the Electricity Corporation about the accident.

Balraj said that he is a cattle rearer and earns his livelihood with the help of his animals. Balraj said his buffalo died due to the negligence of the Electricity Corporation. Village and farmer leaders Sandeep Chahal, Anil, and Vikram said that even after complaining to the department, they did not arrive on time.
