Bhiwani: In Bhiwani district, the police arrested an employee of a private bank in a fraud case. The accused was committing the crime of fraud by making a credit card for the customer by fraud. A credit card has also been recovered from him.
A woman resident of Siwani had complained to the Cyber Crime Police Station, in which she told them that in October 2022, she had taken a personal loan from ICICI Bank Siwani. On June 10, 2024, a call came on her phone. In which the caller introduced himself as a bank employee and gave information about the payment due on the credit card.
The woman told him that she had not gotten any credit card issued in her name. On June 12, 2024, when she went to ICICI Bank Siwani and inquired, she came to know from the bank that a credit card had been issued in her name. From which 3 lakh rupees have been withdrawn. Some employees of the bank itself have taken money by cheating the women. On this complaint, the police had registered a case in Police Station Cyber Crime Bhiwani under the relevant sections.
In this case, female assistant sub-inspector Sudesh Kumar of Police Station Cyber Crime Bhiwani arrested an accused in the case of fraudulently making a credit card on the documents of a personal loan and extorting money. The arrested accused has been identified as a Rajkumar resident of Kairu, Tosham District, Bhiwani.
The accused was already lodged in District Jail Bhiwani in a card fraud case. He was taken on remand on a warrant. The accused was produced before the court.
