Bhiwani: In Bhiwani, Haryana, a cyber fraudster robbed a person of Rs 57400 by posing as a credit card officer. The victim has registered a case against the fraudster at the cyber police station. Efforts are being made by the police to catch the accused.
Bharat Bhushan, a resident of Jain Chowk Street Thakur Gangu Singh in Bhiwani, said that on July 2, he received a normal call and a WhatsApp call from two different mobile numbers on his mobile number. The caller introduced himself as an officer of the credit card department. He asked to make a credit card.
The accused fraudulently withdrew a total of Rs 57400 from Bharat Bhushan’s bank account by deceiving him. When Bharat Bhushan learned about this fraud, he complained about it on the online portal. The police have registered a case. The police have started searching for the cyber fraudster.
