Chandigarh: After the defeat in Haryana assembly elections, the Congress high command has given another blow to the Hooda faction. After not announcing the name of the Leader of Opposition, now the names of former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda and state president Udaybhan have been removed from the list of star campaigners for the Delhi assembly elections.
Among the leaders of the Hooda faction, only his son Deepender Singh Hooda, MP from Rohtak, has got a place. At the same time, the leader of the opposition faction MP Kumari Selja and Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Surjewala have been given a place in the star campaigners.
The high command is angry with the Haryana defeat
The Congress high command is angry with the Hooda faction due to the defeat in the Haryana assembly elections. This is the reason why former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda and state president Udaybhan have been given a free hand.
After banning appointments at the district level, now the work area of the secretaries has also been changed. No discussion was held with the state leaders regarding this. By doing this, the central leadership wants to give a message to the leaders and workers that no party is above Delhi, the central leadership will take strict decisions against anyone who works against the party line.
