Fatehabad : Brazen robbery took place in broad daylight near the Yoga Divya Mandir. The incident has sparked concerns about the safety of residents, especially during early morning hours when many engage in outdoor activities like yoga and exercise.
On Tuesday morning, near Yoga Divya Mandir in Model Town, Fatehabad, two unidentified youths riding a motorcycle snatched a gold chain from the neck of a woman.
CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, in which the youth are seen snatching the chain. Police has started the investigation of case.
Santosh Singla, a resident of Model Town, was going to Yoga Divya Mandir to do yoga with her mother-in-law at around 6 in the morning. Meanwhile, two youths who came from behind on a motorcycle pounced on his neck, snatched the chain and ran away.
The footage reveals one of the youths dismounting from the motorcycle and swiftly snatching the chain from the woman’s neck.
The woman estimates the chain’s weight to be around 20 grams. Police have initiated an investigation and are currently searching for the suspects.
