Attack on woman with sickle in Rohtak

Rohtak: A case of attacking a woman with a sickle has come to light in Rohtak’s village of Medina. The dispute started when the woman refused to allow her neighbour to install an electricity pole in her field. The dispute started over this matter, and the neighbour beat up the woman and attacked her with a sickle.

She complained about this to the police. Sudesh, a resident of Rohtak’s village Medina, has complained to Bahu Akbarpur police station. She said in the complaint that she is a farmer. She had gone to her farm on the evening of July 19.

When her neighbour refused to install an electricity pole in the field, he started a quarrel. After some time, she started going home. During this time, the accused blocked her way. He attacked her with a sickle. He grabbed her neck and tried to kill her.

Threatened to kill

The woman, Sudesh, said that she ran away from there to save her life. The accused also threatened to kill her. Sudesh got injured in this fight. She was admitted to Meham Hospital for treatment. From there, the doctors referred her to the district hospital in Rohtak.

The police were informed about the matter. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started an investigation. Based on the woman’s complaint, a case has been registered against the accused, Sethi, and an investigation has been started.
