Haryana: In Kaithal a case of kidnapping and murder of a young man who had gone to watch Jagran has come to light. The body was thrown in the drain located on Ambala Road. There is an allegation of murder by hitting a brick on the head.
A young man who had gone to watch Jagran on Sunday night at Mata Gate in Kaithal city of Haryana was kidnapped and murdered. In this case, the accused first kidnapped the deceased and later killed him by hitting bricks on his head. After this, the body of the youth was dropped in the drain between Dhand Road and Ambala Road.
In this case, based on the complaint, the city police started investigation. Under this, the forensic team also collected evidence. Whereas a case of kidnapping of this young man was registered in the city police station itself.
According to the information, 18 year old Anshul, a resident of Patel Nagar, had gone to the city’s Badi Devi Mata temple on Sunday night to watch the Jagran of Khatu Shyam. He did not return even till Tuesday morning. The body of this deceased youth was found in the afternoon from the Kaithal drain between Dhand Road and Ambala Road. There a passerby saw the dead body of the young man and informed the police. City police station and Sadar police station reached the spot at around 12.30 pm.
Earlier, a case of kidnapping was registered in the city police station on the complaint of the deceased’s father Rammehar. After the body was found, the section of murder was also added to it. Anshul’s father Rammehar told that on Sunday night at around 9.15 pm, he had come with his only son Anshul to the Jagran of Khatu Shyam at Badi Devi Mata temple. When he called his son at 11.27 pm, he told that he was with his friend Dixit and would come in five minutes.
After some time, when he called again, she did not pick up the phone. He called about ten times and later the number got switched off. After around 12 o’clock in the night, he got a call from Dixit’s father that Dixit was hurt.
When he went to him, Dixit told that four to five youths had come in two vehicles and they had taken Anshul away. He was also beaten up. After this he had registered a case of kidnapping in the city police station. Police is also interrogating Dixit in this case. The family members have demanded that the accused be arrested as soon as possible.
A case of kidnapping was first registered on the complaint of the deceased’s father on Tuesday night. Now after the dead body of the youth was found, the section of murder has also been added to it.
