Chances of rain for 4 days in Haryana: Warning of hailstorm, weather to change from tonight

Chandigarh: There is a possibility of rain in Haryana for the next 4 days i.e. 26, 27, 28 and 1 March. The Meteorological Department has predicted the activation of two western disturbances. One western disturbance will be active from the night of 25 February to 26 February and the other western disturbance will be active from 27 February to 1 March.

During this period, drizzle and strong winds may occur along with thunderstorms. Apart from this, hailstorm is also likely at one or two places. The effect of western disturbance can be seen from this morning itself. Most of the areas of Haryana are cloudy.

Talking about Hisar, the sky was cloudy with light fog in the morning. Different colors of weather are being seen in February. The temperature continues to fluctuate. While the temperature had reached 30 degrees from 10 to 13 February, just 13 days later the temperature remains around 22 to 24 degrees. The cold suddenly increased due to rain and hailstorm. In such a situation, two more western disturbances will maintain the balance of temperature.

The fall in temperature will continue: Kheechhad

Dr. Madan Kheechhad, Head of the Department of Agricultural Meteorology, Haryana Agricultural University, said that the weather in Haryana is likely to remain generally variable till March 1. There is a possibility of change in the weather of the state due to the effect of 2 consecutive western disturbances.

Due to the partial effect of western disturbance, there is a possibility of partly cloudy weather and moderate winds on 25 and 26 February in the state. But due to the partial effect of another western disturbance, there is a possibility of drizzle or light rain at some places with winds and thundershowers during the night of 27 February to 1 March in the state, due to which the temperature is likely to remain low.
