The body of a young man has been found in a dera in Sirsa. The person’s mouth was swollen, and there were marks of injury. A rope was tied around his neck. Looking at the situation, the police suspected murder and registered a case and started an investigation.

According to the information, on Sunday, someone who went to the dera saw the dead body. After this, the village sarpanch was informed. Sarpanch’s brother Shamsher Singh reached the spot and on seeing the dead body, he suspected murder. After this the police have registered a case on the statement of Sarpanch’s brother Shamsher Singh.

Police engaged in identifying the deceased

At present, the body of the youth has been kept in the mortuary of the Civil Hospital. The deceased has not been identified yet. Therefore, the police are engaged in identifying the deceased and are searching the missing report in all the police stations.

In the complaint given to the police, Shamsher Singh said that he is a resident of Phaggu village and is a farmer. His brother Ravidrapal is the Sarpanch of Phaggu village. On Sunday morning, around 8:30, he received a call from someone that the body of an unknown person was lying in a dera near the cremation ground in Phaggu village.

Shamsher Singh further said that he had a green coloured rope around his neck and was wearing slippers. The person had injuries on his face and his eyes were closed and his mouth was swollen, and he was in a dead state.
