Chandigarh: Fog has not cleared in Haryana even after daybreak. Hisar, Rohtak, Panipat, Rewari, Karnal, Sonipat, Jhajjar, Yamunanagar, Jind, Sirsa, Bhiwani and Palwal are in the grip of fog. Visibility is zero in Karnal, Panipat, Balsmand of Hisar, Kalanaur of Rohtak and Rewari. Visibility is 10 to 20 meters at other places too.
Fog is affecting trains. Ajmer-Jammu Tawi train reached Rewari railway station 11 hours late and train going from Jammu Tawi to Ajmer reached 8 hours late.
Fog is falling like raindrops. Due to dense fog, drivers are finding it difficult to drive on the roads. The Meteorological Department has issued a very dense fog alert for Ambala and Kurukshetra.

Temperature below 5 degrees in 6 cities of Haryana
The minimum temperature in Haryana has gone down further. Mercury is moving towards freezing point in Mahendragarh. The minimum temperature in Mahendragarh has been recorded at 2.6 degrees Celsius. The temperature in Hisar has been recorded at 4 and in Narnaul at 3 degrees. Apart from this, the mercury in Karnal, Sirsa and Panipat is 5 degrees. Rohtak and Gurugram recorded a temperature of 8.8, Faridabad 8.3 and Sonipat 8.1 degrees.
Yellow alert of rain issued for these seven districts
The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted rain in 7 districts of Haryana after the weather changed from the night of 10th. These districts include Jhajjar, Rewari, Mahendragarh, Gurugram, Faridabad, Palwal and Mewat (Nuh). No alert has been issued for the remaining districts.
