Faridabad: The development work that was stopped in all the residential areas within 100 meters of the Air Force Station in Faridabad, Haryana, has now been approved. Due to this, there is a wave of happiness among the people living within a 100-meter radius. Now all the facilities provided by registry, mutation, new electricity connection, municipal corporation, and government will be provided to these people here.
The High Court had banned authorized construction within this 100-meter radius of the Air Force Station so that illegal construction could not be done. Some officials, citing this ban, banned registrations in this area. Government facilities stopped reaching here. The condition worsened due to dirt and pollution.
The government report also revealed that the condition here is getting worse due to pollution. After this, this matter reached Congress MLA Neeraj Sharma from NIT Faridabad. The MLA talked to the people of the area and understood the law well.
MLA Neeraj Sharma raised the issue of a ban on the registration of properties falling within 100 meters of the Air Force Station during the question hour in the assembly budget session. Sharma told the Deputy Chief Minister that the High Court has banned only illegal construction by our court.
In 2019, MLA Neeraj Sharma wrote a letter to the then-station commander of Faridabad Air Force Station that the CPCB has marked this area as a pollution hotspot, so because of public interest, repairing should be allowed at least in this 100-meter radius. After this, he also met Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
