Gurugram Election: Anganwadi women staff appointed at 520 booths to identify “Pardanashi” women voters

Haryana: The district administration has provided basic facilities to the voters at every booth. Four pink booths for women, four youth booths for youth, four PWD booths for the disabled and four special model booths for common citizens have been established in the district.

On Saturday 25th May, the voters of Gurugram district should leave their other work and be the first to go to the booth to cast their vote and offer their sacrifice in this sacred sacrifice of democracy. He said that this time women employees have also been appointed at some urban polling stations in the district. So that women come in greater numbers and vote.

Nishant Kumar Yadav said that to conduct the voting peacefully, 19 QRT teams have been formed under the leadership of 85 Sector Magistrates, 37 Zonal Magistrates and HCS and IAS level officers. If any kind of hindrance arises in the voting process, these teams will be ready for action. Every sector magistrate has been given an EVM machine, so that if any EVM machine gets damaged, it can be replaced immediately. CCTV cameras and web cameras have been installed at polling booths to monitor the voting process. A team of 45 personnel will be present in the control room set up in the Secretariat premises to watch the webcast cameras.

In view of the heat wave, a paramedical staff has been put on duty at each booth. Apart from this, ORS packets have been kept at the booth. 12 ambulances will be deployed in the district for emergency health care. About seven thousand employees are doing duty in the Lok Sabha elections.

Anganwadi workers have been put on duty at 520 polling stations to identify marginalized women voters. Section 144 will remain in force within a radius of two hundred meters around the polling stations. After voting, children who take photos with their parents and upload them on CEOHaryana.gov.in website will be given prizes through a draw.
