A 60-year-old disabled elderly man died in a tragic road accident in Agroha in Haryana’s Hisar district. The deceased has been identified as Balbir Singh, a resident of the village of Nangthala. The incident took place on February 12 at around 11 am. Agroha police, who reached the spot after getting information about the case, have registered a case on the basis of the complaint and started investigation and the driver is being searched.

Passers-by took him to the hospital

According to the information, Balbir Singh was going towards Kirmara Road in his e-rickshaw. Meanwhile, a speeding truck hit his e-rickshaw hard. Balbir Singh, who was seriously injured in the accident, was taken to Agroha Medical College with the help of passers-by, where he died during treatment. After the accident, the accused truck driver fled from the spot.

Police started investigation after registering a case

The deceased’s son Krishna Kumar said that his father was disabled in his left leg and used an e-rickshaw as he was unable to walk. On the complaint of Krishna Kumar, Agroha police has registered a case against the truck driver and started investigation.
