In Chelawas village of Kanina subdivision, a grandson killed his grandfather by attacking him with an axe. The grandfather, who was seriously injured after being hit on the head with an axe, was taken to the sub-civil hospital Kanina by other family members for treatment, where the doctors declared him dead. The police, who arrived on the information of the family, reached the spot and took the body in their custody and took it to the civil hospital Kanina.
In a complaint to the police, Vinod Kumar, the younger son of the deceased Dayanand, said that he is the youngest of five brothers and he is the youngest. On Friday evening at around seven o’clock, he fed his father and made him lie down on the cot inside the door, and went inside to eat himself. Meanwhile, the elder brother’s son Narendra, came with an axe in his hand and attacked the head of his father lying on the cot several times.
He came after hearing the noise and Narendra tried to attack him too, but he escaped. When he followed him outside the house, other people were also standing with iron rods in their hands. Earlier, he had received threats to kill him along with his family. When he took his father to the sub-civil hospital Kanina in a bloody condition, the doctors declared him dead.
However, in this case, it is being told that the family was having a dispute regarding repayment of loan amount and division of land. However, the police is investigating this matter and no case has been registered yet.
