ED raids Sonipat taxi driver home in cryptocurrency related case

Sonipat: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has raided the residence of a taxi driver in Sonipat, Haryana. The case is said to be related to fake cryptocurrency.

Police have also been deployed on the spot. People from the vicinity are also gathered outside the house. Taxi driver’s brother Naresh lives abroad. Naresh works in cryptocurrency.

According to the information, a team of ED has reached lane 24 in Mayur Vihar in Sonipat city. An investigation is going on at the residence of taxi driver Ramesh Gulia. The house in which the investigation is going on is said to be of the driver’s brother Naresh. Ramesh Gulia is living in this house.

ED’s raid at the house of an ordinary driver has made people curious about what the matter is. People outside his house are waiting for the ED raid to end so that they can get complete information. The ED team is questioning driver Ramesh Gulia.

Neighbours said that the ED raid had been going on since 8 a.m. People have come to know today only that the taxi driver’s brother lives abroad.

The taxi driver is a resident of Lath village, located on Gohana Road in Sonipat. They are three brothers, named Ramesh, Naresh, and Mahesh Gulia. Naresh has a house in Mayur Vihar, Sonipat, and taxi driver Ramesh Gulia lives here. Naresh Gulia joined the Army in 1995. He was trained in Jabalpur. 15 years after joining the Army, he took VRS. Now he is said to be abroad.
