Farmers’ protest ends at Hisar’s mini secretariat: submitted a memorandum to the district administration

Hisar: The farmers sitting on a dharna in the mini secretariat of Hisar have ended their protest. On Tuesday, farmers were sitting on a dharna from 12 noon in support of farmer leader Dallewal. The one-day dharna of farmers under the banner of Pagdi Sambhal Jatta Union has ended.

On Wednesday, farmers submitted a memorandum to the district administration regarding their demands. During this, the farmers broke their fast by drinking milk. Farmer leaders said that the farmers of Punjab sitting on the border of Haryana should be allowed to go to Delhi.

The leaders of the hunger strike Pagdi Sambhal Jatta Kisan Sangharsh Samiti said that there will be a meeting of the farmers committee in Chandigarh with the government. As soon as the orders come after this meeting, the farmers will prepare the strategy for the upcoming movement.

District head Satish Beniwal said that the MSP guarantee law should be implemented on crops. The roads closed by the police on Khanauri and Shambhu border should be opened. At the same time, the 2020 Electricity Act should be canceled. The entire debt of the farmers should be waived. Talk to the elderly farmers sitting on hunger strike at Khanauri border while taking care of their health. Farmers submitted a memorandum regarding all these demands.
