Fatehabad: On Saturday afternoon, near Kharakhedi village of Fatehabad, a major accident took place. A car lost its balance collided in the divider. The accident was so terrible that the car overturned, breaking the iron grill and dragged for some distance.
The car rider who has been identified as 56-year-old Surjit Kaur, resident of Muktsar, Punjab, died in the accident. Baljeet Singh and Lakhwinder Singh became severely injured in the accident. Apart from them, two other people have been reported injured too. The injured after the accident were admitted to Agroha Medical.
Family returning from Function to Mukstar
Muktsar resident Baljeet Singh had gone to Delhi in a car with his family to attend a function. The accident took place when they all were returning back to Muktsar in the car. Near village Kharakhedi of Fatehabad the car suddenly became unbalanced and collided with the divider. The reason behind why car lost its balance is yet to ascertain. Sadar police team reached the spot and shifted the accident car to other side with the help of a crane.
