Fatehabad: In Fatehabad, Haryana, on Monday morning, an ED team from Punjab raided the house of a person in the Shiv Nagar area. The team reached here at around 6 a.m., and the interrogation continued there for several hours. The team refused to share any kind of information with the media. It is being told that the man, his wife, and his daughter were present in the house and were questioned by the team.
According to the information, a team of EDs reached Fatehabad in two vehicles with Punjab numbers and raided a house in Shiv Nagar. The team was led by a Haryana officer. The team closed the gates as soon as they entered the house. Police personnel were deployed outside the house. The police personnel are not allowing anyone to come and go inside.
It is being told that when the tenant of the shop built inside this house also tried to go inside in the morning, he was also not allowed to go.
Information has come to light that the ED has conducted raids here in connection with the fake firm case that came to light in Sirsa some time ago. It is not known what the link is between the person living in Shiv Nagar and the fake firm case.
