Flights will start soon from Haryana’s first airport, Airport authority to issue license soon

Hisar: The license of Haryana’s first airport is almost ready, and the Airport Authority of India can issue it soon. After getting the license, domestic flights can start from Hisar. It is believed that the process of flying planes from Hisar will start in early 2025.

The reason for this is that 44 objections to Hisar Airport have been removed, and the Haryana government has also made arrangements for additional fire travel vehicles. Fire travel vehicles were the biggest hurdle in the airport license.

As per the rules, at least 2 fire travel vehicles are required to operate the airport, but Hisar Airport had only one fire travel vehicle. This vehicle has been brought from Cochin Airport in Kerala. After the airport gets the license, preparations for the flight will be started.

The Haryana government wants to start flights through Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During his visit to Hisar on Monday (November 26), Chief Minister Naib Saini himself had said that the Prime Minister himself would flag off the flights from here.

There is a plan to connect Hisar Airport with 5 states. Flights will be started from Hisar to Chandigarh, Ayodhya, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Jammu. These flights were planned to be started in August. But this could not happen due to the imposition of a code of conduct. An agreement has been signed with Alliance Air Aviation Limited for the flights. The Haryana government will start the first flight to Ayodhya.
