Former MLA Subhash Chaudhary dies of brain hemorrhage in Palwal

Palwal: Former MLA Subhash Chaudhary died on Tuesday in Palwal, Haryana. He had suffered a brain hemorrhage. He was undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Faridabad for 4 days. At this time he was in the Congress party. Earlier he had also demanded a ticket from Palwal seat from Congress.

However, Congress gave it to Karan Dalal. After which his health deteriorated. Subhash Chaudhary’s wife has already died. He is survived by a son and a daughter.

Subhash Chaudhary was a well-known face in the politics of Palwal district. He was also the president of the Municipal Council along with being a councilor many times. In 1996, he contested the election for the first time on a BSP ticket and he stood second.

After this, he contested elections continuously. In 2009, he defeated former minister Karan Singh Dalal while contesting on an INLD ticket. Subhash Chaudhary remained in the headlines of the entire state after defeating Karan Dalal, the close relative of former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda. He contested the 2014 election again on an INLD ticket, but he could not succeed. Before the 2019 elections, he joined the BJP, but he did not get a ticket from the BJP.

Before the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, he left the BJP and supported Congress candidate Mahendra Pratap. After the Lok Sabha elections, he staked his claim on the Palwal assembly seat from Congress.

The Congress expressed confidence in former minister Karan Singh Dalal. Last Friday, Subhash Chaudhary suddenly suffered a brain hemorrhage.
