Gravel laden trolley collides with electric pole catch fire, driver burnt to death in Faridabad

A trolley full of gravel collided with an electric pole near the Magar police post on Gurugram Road in Faridabad, Haryana. Due to this the trolley caught fire. The trolley driver was burnt to death in this accident. The police have sent the body of the deceased for postmortem.

According to the Magar Chowki police, this accident happened around 5 am on Monday. A 22-tyre trolley carrying gravel had left from Gurugram, as soon as it started turning to go towards Delhi near Magar Chowki, it collided with an electric pole.

The police believe that perhaps the driver could not turn the trolley and it lost control and collided with the electric pole. Due to this the trolley caught fire. After the fire, the driver got stuck in the cabin of the trolley and was burnt to death.

The driver has been identified as Ibran Khan (30). He was originally a resident of Court Khurd (Ramgarh) in Alwar district of Rajasthan. As soon as the fire was reported, the fire brigade vehicle reached the spot and extinguished the fire. After the fire was extinguished, the driver’s body was taken out and sent to Badshah Khan Hospital in Faridabad for postmortem.

Due to the fire in the trolley, a car parked nearby also caught fire. No one was present in the car at the time of the fire.
