Haryana: Police team attacked by miscreants during recovery of stolen car in Narnaul

Narnaul: In Haryana’s Narnaul, around fifteen youths thrashed Gurugram police personnel. Gurugram police had come to recover a car in a theft case. Both the policemen who reached here were in plain clothes and had come in a private car. The injured policemen have been admitted to the civil hospital for treatment. The complainant is also involved in the fight.

According to the information, policeman Vikas posted in Sector 10 police station of Gurugram and another had come to village Sareli under Nizampur police station. They had come here to recover a stolen car. Both the policemen had come in civil dress and a private car. After coming to the village, both of them raided to catch the car. During this time, a youth named Rahul, who had complained of car theft, was also present there.

According to Gurugram policeman Vikas, Rahul had 15 to 16 boys with him. Once Rahul asked the policemen to bring the car. On this, he was assured that the vehicle had been recovered. But later they attacked him with sticks. Due to this, he was seriously injured. He somehow managed to save his life and ran away. The miscreants also broke the windows of the personal vehicle of the police personnel. The police have started an investigation into this matter.
