Chandigarh: The government will take the elderly above 60 years of age in Haryana to the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj for free under the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan Yojana. CM Nayab Singh Saini made this announcement in a review meeting called to review the government’s 100 days of work. The CM instructed all the administrative secretaries present in the meeting to complete the announcements within the stipulated time. It was also instructed that no work should remain pending.
In the meeting, the CM instructed to implement the Citizen Charter in the government office. Told the officials to deliver the benefits of government schemes to the eligible beneficiaries in a timely manner. Apart from this, under the Swachhta Abhiyan, the officers should also conduct surprise inspections while taking care of cleanliness in their offices.
In the Mahakumbh being organized in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, CM Nayab Saini will reach Prayagraj with his colleagues for the Mahakumbh bath on February 7. Earlier, Chief Minister Nayab Saini himself had announced this.
Not only this, special arrangements have been made by the government for the devotees going from Haryana. Crores of devotees will go there from all over the country, special arrangements have been made for the people going from Haryana as well.
Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan has also received an invitation to Maha Kumbh. This invitation has been sent to him by the Speaker of the UP Assembly.
The government made arrangements for 30 thousand people
The Haryana government has made arrangements for 30 thousand people from Haryana going to Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. Arrangements for their stay and food have been made by the Haryana government in Sector-18 at the Maha Kumbh site. The Environment Activity Organization of RSS has taken the responsibility of making arrangements for this.
To make the Maha Kumbh Mela single plastic free and green Kumbh, 30 thousand plates, 30 thousand bags and 6 thousand glasses have been sent by the workers of the Environment Activity Organization of Gurugram RSS. 60 thousand plates, 40 thousand bags and 10 glasses have been sent from across the state.
