Haryana CM’s yoga program disrupted, venue changed amid rain; Khattar did yoga on Shimla Ridge with Delhi and Himachal Governor

Chandigarh : Like the entire country and abroad, International Yoga Day is being celebrated in Haryana today. Its main program was held in Hisar, where Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini participated. This program was to be held at Guru Jambheshwar University (GGU) in Hisar, but in view of the weather, the administration has changed its venue to the convention hall of Flamingo Tourist Resort.

Due to rain on Thursday, the ground proposed for the Yoga Day program was completely wet. The mats laid here have got wet. The stage also got completely wet. In view of this, the venue of the program has been changed.

At the same time, the theme of Yoga Day this time has been kept as Yoga for self and society. Adequate vehicles were arranged to bring the yoga practitioners coming from rural areas to the function and drop them back home.

On Yoga Day, Chief Minister Nayab Saini inaugurated 24 gymnasiums built by the Panchayat Department and laid the foundation stone of 69 gymnasiums.

Former CM and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar did yoga in Delhi, while the Governor of Himachal Pradesh practiced yoga on Shimla Ridge. In this way, leaders and common people are practicing yoga today by organizing programs at various places in the state.

On the occasion of the 10th International Yoga Day, former Chief Minister of Haryana and now Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar participated in a mass yoga program at JLN Stadium in Delhi.
