After killing his wife by slitting her throat, husband went to the police station and surrendered himself

Sirsa: A young man killed his wife by slitting her throat in Dabwali (Sirsa), Haryana. After this incident, the accused did not run away but went to the police station and surrendered himself to the police. In his statement, the accused said that he had killed his wife by slitting her throat. The police was also stunned to hear this. A police team was sent to the spot. The police found the body of the woman lying soaked in blood. The police have also recovered the weapon.
Ranjeet alias Bablu, a resident of village Rampura Bisnoiyan, was quarreling with his wife Mamta for the past few days over some issue. Bablu got so angry during the quarrel that he attacked Mamta’s head and neck with an iron crowbar. After which Mamta died on the spot. Police investigation has revealed that Bablu is a driver. Bablu had purchased a vehicle on installments.  Bablu was not able to pay the installment due to which he used to have daily quarrel with his wife.

The police registered a case of murder and arrested the accused Bablu. Currently, forensic and crime teams are inspecting the crime scene. The police have taken the body into custody and started further action.
