Haryana Govt Big Gift: CM Saini inaugurates 250 gyms for rural youth, announces free sports equipment

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday attended the state-level function organized on the occasion of National Youth Day and Swami Vivekanand Jayanti in Panchkula as the chief guest.

After inaugurating 250 gyms for rural youth, the Chief Minister announced free sports equipment for eight notified sports and the inclusion of “Inter Youth Club Games” in the annual sports calendar of the state, while also talking about opening at least one ITI in every block of the state.

The Chief Minister did not stop here, he also announced a special policy to make the youth proficient in the languages ​​of different countries and to bear the expenses of getting it certified by the concerned agency by the government.

Earlier, he released a song inspiring the youth to be aware of the evils of drug abuse, which was sung by famous singer Naveen Punia. He also distributed job offer letters to the trainees of ITI. He also honored the awardee youth and volunteers of NSS.

In his speech, Chief Minister said that free sports equipment will be provided for 8 notified sports. These sports include volleyball, football, basketball, handball, boxing, wrestling, judo and cricket. Every year the Sports Department will organize two adventure sports camps for youth clubs. He also announced that at least one ITI will be opened in every block of Haryana.

Out of 142 blocks in the state, there are 26 blocks where there is no ITI. Out of these, the proposal to open new government ITIs in 6 blocks has already been approved and the construction of buildings is in process. ITIs will also be opened in the remaining 20 blocks, which will cost Rs 400 crore. The Chief Minister also said that the government will bear the expenses of the youth learning foreign languages ​​and getting it certified from the concerned agency.

He said that from today, the Hortron Advanced Skill Center project is being started. Under this, 87 Advanced Skill Centers will be opened in the first year. These centers will provide NSQF recognized certificates.
