Ignoring the rules set by the Hisar Municipal Corporation has proved costly for 25 officers and employees. Additional Municipal Commissioner Dr. Pradeep Hooda has issued show cause notices to all concerned employees, including engineers for not marking biometric attendance.
Last month, all the staff were given clear instructions that attendance will have to be marked only through biometric system daily, but these officers and employees did this only once or twice. On the remaining days, attendance was shown without biometric, which is a blatant disregard of the order.
Considering this negligence as indiscipline, written replies have been sought from 25 employees. It has been said in the notice that if a satisfactory reply is not received within the stipulated time, departmental action will be taken.
