Haryana: Light rain in 8 districts; alert issued for 5 districts, dense fog expected for 2 days

Chandigarh: It has been drizzling in 8 cities of Haryana since morning. These include Panipat, Rohtak, Sonipat, Narnaul, Jhajjar, Samalkha, Charkhi Dadri and Palwal. The Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert for rain in 5 more districts. These include Fatehabad, Hisar, Jind, Kaithal and Kurukshetra. There may be heavy rain in Hisar.

There were clouds in Faridabad last night, but now the weather is clear. There is light sunshine in Jind. According to the weather department, it may rain tomorrow as well. After this, there may be dense fog. Agricultural experts are considering the rain good for the wheat crop.

2 western disturbances active, no rain

In Haryana, 2 western disturbances were active continuously since 31 January, but it has not rained yet. Rain in the first week of February is considered good for crops. Farmers are disappointed due to lack of rain. Today it is expected that rain in 5 districts of wheat growing area may provide relief to farmers.

Weather experts say that there is a possibility of scattered drizzle at some places today. After February 5, once again most places in Haryana will see a drop in temperature and fog may cover the entire area.

According to meteorologists, the temperature will rise gradually after the second week of February and by the end of this month, heat will start to be felt. However, 5 western disturbances will come one after the other in February, which can lead to changes in the weather .

The current weather will make the morning and evening cold. However, there is a possibility of a gradual increase in the day temperature.
