Panipat court sentences life imprisonment to murderer in Panipat

Panipat: Haryana’s Panipat court has sentenced a murder convict to life imprisonment. District Attorney Rajesh Kumar said that the court of Additional Sessions Judge Dr. Naresh Kumar Singhal has sentenced the convict, Rahul, a native of Bandpur, district Sonipat, and currently a resident of Raj Nagar Street No. 4, to life imprisonment. The court has also imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 on the convict. The convict had killed a young man by stabbing him in the chest with scissors during a fight on the night of July 31.

In a complaint to the Model Town police station, Bijendra said that he is a resident of Street No. 4, Rajnagar. He is a contractor. Golu (25), a resident of village Salakhedi, district Muzaffarnagar, UP, worked as a mason for him. Apart from this, Rahul, a resident of the district Sonipat, works as a labourer.

Both Golu and Rahul live in Rajnagar. On the night of July 30, 2021, around 11 p.m., he was sitting at his friend Ravi Mohan’s hairdresser shop. Meanwhile, his wife Suman and labourer Rahul’s wife Pramila came to the shop. Rahul’s wife said to save Golu.

Rahul and Golu are fighting. Hearing this, everyone reached the spot. On reaching there, they saw that Golu was lying dead in a blood-soaked condition outside Rahul’s room. Rahul had killed him by stabbing him in the chest and neck with scissors.
