Solan Police has arrested a Haryana Police Head Constable with 157 grams of chitta. Police caught the accused near Solan’s double wall on April 2, but Solan Police had kept the matter under wraps till now.
When the head constable was arrested, he was in police uniform. It is being told that another youth has also been caught with him, who is on police remand. Head Constable Pradeep Kumar is said to be from Tehsil Kalayat village Badisikri district Kaithal.
This was revealed when a head constable of Haryana Police was not coming to duty. Solan Police informed Kaithal’s Siwan police station in-charge in this regard. It is being told that Haryana Police has suspended the constable. Solan Police is investigating the matter. Police is looking for the main supplier of chitta.
HarPolice is avoiding saying anything in this matter. The matter came to light when it started being discussed on social media in Haryana. On the other hand, SP Solan Gaurav Singh said that the matter is being investigated. The constable is being questioned to find out from where he brought such a huge amount of chitta and where it was to be supplied.
